Tips – Clear windows history using registry

Windows history files have an effect on the performance of your pc system. and here’s tips how to clear all windows history files so that your windows operating system always in stabilizing condition.

Some time if you are sharing your computer with others or you do not want that the other persons know about your last visited documents history. You can clear these kinds of user’s history with a single click on desktop icon named Cleanmru.reg. There is no need to clear each history file one by one.

Ok, follow the step:
Copy registry codes below into Notepad , and save as with “cleanmru.reg” , and place the file on your desktop

After you double-click Cleanmru.reg icon to remove the windows history, a small dialog box will appear with the information “Are you sure you want to add the information in C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\desktop\Clearmru.reg to the registry?” , then click “Yes”

After that at-the end, you will get the message “Information in C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\desktop\Clearmru.reg has been successfully entered into the registry.” Click on “Ok” button and verify that your all history will have been clear.

Do the sweeping of windows history at any times you require to do!

maybe this is will be useful if you want to give a message to new users about the uses of computer. And you can create this banner message using the windows registry editor.

Ok, go to Start menu and click – Start – Run - then type “regedit” and press Enter for next.

Within Registry Editor windows , go to / select : HKeyLocalMachine\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon

Here, look at right-side panel, double click on the key LegalNoticeCaption and give it a value you want to see in the menu bar. For example “hello, welcome to my pc”.

Once again at right-side panel, double click on the key called LegalNoticeText and change the value you want to see in the dialog box. For example “Oke, you may not succeed later when trying to logon without a password.”

Then close the registry editor and restart your pc to take effect…

Download avira antivirus – dan tips membuka regisrty yg terkunci

Masih nyambung dari artikel sebelumnya, kali ini saya merekomendasikan avira antivirus untuk di gunakan sebagai protector pc anda. seperti halnya avast yg sy post sebelum-nya, avira ini juga versi free/Gratis , tapi meski free cukup tangguh dan powerfull tak kalah dengan yg komersil seperti Symantec/Norton, Kaspersky, atau lainnya , yap..pertimbangan saya pada antivirus yg sy rekomendasikan adalah spt point2 berikut:

1- Ukuran file-nya kecil, sehingga tidak sulit di download, baik file antivirus maupun update-nya.

2- Proses scaning serta protector-nya tidak banyak memakan memori pc , ini yg buat saya sendiri merupakan hal paling menyebalkan dan tak efisien, seperti antivirus Norton , semua aplikasi jadi terasa berat di eksekusi akibat ulah scaning yg katanya mem-proteksi ini, padahal kualitas proteksi-nya sama saja dg yg bisa di lakukan antivirus yg ukurannya kecil dan versi FREE! . menurut saya , sebuah antivirus yg ukuran file-nya besar, berat dan terkesan komplit/full adalah sama sekali tak memiliki kelebihan apapun dalam hal kualitas pembasmi virus maupun repairing file, di banding antivirus kecil yg simple dan free!. karena memang realitanya yg terpenting adalah bukan “apa antivirus-nya” melainkan update-nya , secanggih apapun antivirus kalau tak pernah di update ,ya podo wae nggak berfungsi pada virus yg baru saja di buat oleh anak SD, SMP.

3-Compatible dengan berbagai jenis system computer, yang saya maksud ini misalnya anti virus Kapersky, yang dalam kerjanya sering menimbulkan gangguan pada akses (user interface) jaringan komputer lokal / LAN Networking .

4- Gratis

Berikut di bawah tips untuk membuka berbagai fasilitas yg di kunci oleh virus, seperti, Alt+CTRL+Del , install aplikasi, regedit…dan lainnya , sudah sy coba utk aksi beberapa virus lokal , mudah-mudahan bisa juga utk mengatasi aksi jenis virus lain yg belum saya temui:
Copy-paste code di bawah ini kedalam Notepad, lalu Save As dengan ekstensi .reg , misalnya termehek-mehek.reg , atau dodol.reg , lalu tempatkan file.reg tersebut pada menu startup, jika ada yg bingung dimana menu-startup,cara gampangnya : buka windows explorer , lalu paste code di bawah ini pada Address bar –Enter/Go.

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Nah, sudah ketemu kan folder startup, copy-paste atau simpan file.reg tsbt pada folder star-up tersebut .
Lalu Restart pc…dan setelah windows boot, akan mucul konfirmasi, pilih saja “Yes” , mudah-mudahan , setelahnya anda sudah bisa meng-instal antivirus , dan lalu melakukan scan.

Berikut juga sebuah tips untuk meng_antisipasi masuknya virus ke pc anda melalui flashdisk , yaitu :buat file .bat seperti di-bawah ini dan simpan pula pada folder startup :

——copy-paste kedalam Notepad, lalu Save As dengan ekstensi.bat , misal :AntiVirus.bat , dan letakan juga pada ,startup —-

del autorun.inf
del *.pif
del *.exe
exit

Note :

1-Gantilah huruf “f” , pada line petama code dengan ,drive flashdisk anda , misal D atau E, atau G.
2-Jangan menyimpan file penting dg ekstensi, .inf , .pif , .exe pada root directory flashdisk (karena akan terhapus)
3- Cara penggunaan: Jika anda berfikir/curiga flasdisk anda ter-iinfeksi virus maka, pasang/colokin Flasdisk tsbt ke PC dalam kondisi PC off/mati , lalu nyalakan pc , maka saat startup/booting windows file .bat tsbt akan menghapus file,autorun.inf, *.exe, dan *.pif , karena spt kita tau hampir semua virus flashdisk bereaksi melalui/membuat file autorun.inf , utk mengaktifkan command virus aslinya, yg sebagian besar merupakan file *.exe ,dan kadang membuat/menyamar sebagai file *.pif sebagai saklar/jebakan peng-aktifan virus.
Saya sendiri memasang file .bat tsbt pada pc saya, dan selalu aman dari infeksi melalui flasdisk.
